ABOUT US

Evan Andrew Bumgarner
His tiny footprints continue to leave a mark on this world through Evan's Project.
Evan's Project started to honor my friends, Sean and Monica Bumgarner and in memory of their sweet angel, Evan. Evan Andrew Bumgarner was born on March 10, 2009 and joined our Father in heaven on March 16, 2009. His family has just a few photos taken by a nurse during his time with them.
After my friends' experience and my own with my two children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), I started thinking about what a blessing it would be for others to have something from those days to look back on for years to come.
Whatever the reason, time spent in the NICU is often an overwhelming journey for families filled with joy, fear,
anxiety and sadness. Many times parents are so focused on their infant's care that they forget about the importance of documenting those precious moments.
In some cases, a little extra time in the NICU is all it takes to get the little one off to the best possible start. For these families the photos are a wonderful reminder of just how far their baby has come.
In the most heartbreaking circumstances, those early photos may be the only tangible keepsakes some parents have of their precious gift. Photos play a very important role in the healing process for these families.
Evan's Project is dedicated to providing cherished memories for NICU families during this stressful time.
